Little Town Jerky Company is inspected daily by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. In addition to being Federally inspected, Little Town Jerky has also achieved certification under the Global Food Safety Initiative through the British Retail Consortium. Our associates follow strict processing guidelines and procedures to bring our customer safe, quality products. From traceability exercises to water quality testing, we go the extra mile to keep you and your family safe.
Little Town Jerky Company is also completely sustainable in regards to our water intake and output. We pump our water from deep, quarterly tested wells. When water used for cleaning and sanitizing goes down our drains, it goes to our very own water treatment plant where we use natural processes to treat the water and discharge it back into the groundwater. Our water treatment facility also has its own laboratory to test for strict limits set by the Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy.
Little Town Jerky Company also recycles 100% of the cardboard used and seeks to minimize our carbon footprint as much as possible.
